Phnom Penh Pot Plants

Leaving all our plants behind in Thailand was an easy decision; our movers said that they couldn't be taken with us, and it would have been prohibitively expensive anyway.

It was painful looking at them lined up in front of their new home, our Thai neighbours house, though.
Even more painful is the price of some of these plants in Cambodia; it seems that Cambodia isn't well served with nurseries and so many plants are imported from Thailand and Vietnam. The price of Orchids was a particular shock- they are literally treble the price that they are in Thailand- so there is a business opportunity here for someone.

Still, our Phnom Penh Pot
Plants are starting to look good...

  1. Looking at these photos of our pot plants lined up outside our Bangkok neighbour's house is sad.

Everyday she hassled me about my washing skills. I never did do it the Thai way. No one has referred to my lack of washing skills in Cambodia.

It is disturbing to think that it is she, that is the proud owner of all our lovely plants.
