Thai coffee in a can, Thai coffee in a bag; it's cheap and it tastes OK. But sometimes the craving for a cup 1/3 filled with rich espresso, and 2/3's filled with steamed milk and then finished with a foamy layer must be quenched.
Ah, the latte! It's one of the things I miss most about home. Actually, you can get excellent coffee in some parts of Bangkok- but not where we live- so a good latte is a real treat.
They are expensive though, so you want find too many Bangkokians supping the really fine lattes; by my rough calculations it would take a local earning the average wage nearly two hours of toil to pay for one of these.
