More than 5,500 troops are readying themselves for the 'Red-shirts' latest rally which takes place this Sunday. More than 30,000 'Reds' are expected and after the recent security-debacles, most notable when the ASEAN summit had to be cancelled, the governent isn't taking any chances; Dusit Palace, Government House and Parliament are in lock-down.It doesn't see likely that there will be any major trouble at this event, but who knows? However, what's certain is that large numbers of soldiers on the street of one of Bangkok's premier tourist sites spells further doom for the Thai tourism industry.
