Set against a backdrop of garbage, filth and a fetid canal this Spirit House on the corner of street 488 and 105 in Phnom Penh is lovingly tended by the men and woman who make their living scavenger for recyclable rubbish in the area.
The Spirit house that previously sat on the same site was not lavished with the same care. Neglected and unloved it was finally discarded, although it still remains just feet from from the new one.
