| Decency is off the menu at some Cambodian restaurants |
That's the ultimatum the owner of a popular, but unnamed Phnom Penh riverside restaurant, delivers to any of his waitresses who fall pregnant.
Apparently the loathsome restaurateur believes that a pregnant women will bring ill-luck to his establishment. And besides, he claims, as some of his customers may be hopeful of sleeping with his waitresses, an expectant woman would kill the mood.
Surely that cannot be true was my first thought. But the story, and many more just like it are backed up by similar reports.
Not just a mad Cambodian man. But also a plain evil one.
