King Father Given New Name

It is Cambodian custom that its king receives three names. The first is given at birth, the second when he takes the throne and the third name is bestowed after his passing.

Thus king-father Norodom Sihanouk now has the royal title Preah Borum Rattanak Kod.

Sihanouk will be cremated on February 4th.
