Berenice Marlohe is the Bond girl in Skyfall. She plays Séverine in the 23rd Bond film and Cambodians have been quick to claim her as one of their own.
Born in France to a French mother and Khmer-Chinese father, Berenice has visited Cambodia once, three years ago.
Some Cambodian pundits have been quick to change her father's description from Khmer-Chinese to just Khmer, but isn't that the way of all nations- each seeks to stake a claim, if it can, on those who are successful.
