Sarey* loves rice so much that she gets antsy when we don't have some bubbling away.
And she just doesn't understand why we don't plow through a plate of rice 3 times-a-day.
We have got her out of the habit of putting the night's rice on to cook at 2:30 PM, although she was somewhat perplexed, crestfallen even, when told it was too soon to cook rice for lunch at 9:15 in the morning.
I guess the march of a Cambodian countryside day is different to that of the city; the call to the rice fields is an early one and breakfast, lunch and dinner come much earlier there.
