It's My Birthday and I'll blog about it if I want to!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me today! : )

I won't be doing much, apart from trying to get a moto driver to find the Post Office with his non-existent English, and my almost non-existent Khmer.

As a birthday present could everyone pull their finger out and put a comment on the blog!
- I can say what I want, it's my Birthday! : )

It's started raining here early, quite nice as it reminds me of New Zealand. Only wish now we had hot water!

  6. Seems your cat and your man think you're some sort of domestic goddess...even on your birthday!!!

  8. It doesn't matter how hungry I am in the morning...Vanna has to be fed first, or I get my leg bitten off!!!!!

That goes for Philip and his coffee too! : )

  10. Thanks Jill, : )

It's probably a similar temperature here at the moment as New Zealand, 25 or 26 degrees.

We've got the drizzle also. A little unseasonal, but interesting.

We both got soaked yesterday on a moto ride - a wet foreigner is always entertainment for the locals.

Thanks again for all the Happy Birthday's in different languages...it makes me want to sign up for another linguistics paper.

  11. Thanks Monica,

It is always nice having a birthday!

You'll be pleased to know Vanna is fed and watered and has happily gone out to explore since the rain has eased. It has brought all the birds out.

  12. Thanks Jenny for the birthday wishes all the way from Australia.

Thanks for your comments on the 'Beeline' mobile blog entry too. Glad you found it a cute marketing idea.

Anyone who sees we have a beeline phone always nods enthusiasticly, and gives the thumbs up.

  13. Hi Ann, Happy Birthday, yesterday now - did you get a day off? Sounds like you are settling in and starting to make a home. Quiet back here in the Waikato. Hope you had a good day yesterday.

  14. Thanks John...for the birthday wishes and for commenting on the blog. : )

I like it when birthday wishes continue into the next day - extends it!

It wasn't a day off, but not a busy day so very nice. Only had two classes.

We only have a few students so far; it is starting slowly. Cambodia seems to work by word-of-mouth, so it looks like it is going to build as people get to know us and our way of teaching.

How is work for you, are you busy?

    Ann : )
