Thai street food is excellent but it's not as varied as first impressions may have led you to believe. So sometimes a change is called for and luckily most supermarkets have some stunningly good take-aways on offer.
Sure, it can be a little pricey but it is also fresh, well-presented and it's nice to be able to choose something away from the traffic and the heat.
It's not just Thai food on offer here, either. Our local does a passable Indian, a good Italian and an excellent Japanese offering.
And if none of that appeals the food court next door is sure to have something that will satisfy. What do you feel like for tea tonight; roast duck, grilled chicken, massamam curry, red curry, crispy roast pork, pork kebabs, red pork, grilled squid, fried rice, steamed rice, sticky rice, flat noodles, thin noodles, or fish..?
