A Stretch in Time

I'm feeling relaxed and floppily today! That's because you can't beat a good Thai body or foot massage.

First, you don't have to take your clothes off and second, there is nothing quite like having your feet washed and scrubbed in a mini bath and then lathered with delightful smelling lotions!

The actual body massage itself is akin to a vigorous yoga session without having to execute the stretches yourself. It is true bliss- most of the time- although sometimes you need a bit of pain to really straighten yourself out! And if you feel like it you can even practice your Thai language skills whilst the therapists try out their English.

It is something I will truly miss when I move to Cambodia. Although Phnom Penh has the same type of massage places as Thailand, they are not technically as skilled in the stretches as Thais', although I have had some excellent sessions with blind therapists there. I am sure the skill-level there will rise quickly over time.
